Session Log
S1First hunts in KamuraFri, July 3, 2026 · ~3 hrs▸
Completed all training quests and every ★1 Village quest except Roly-Poly Lanterns (the Firelantern gathering quest). Used the Long Sword exclusively. Defeated the Great Izuchi in the ★1 Urgent quest for the first large-monster kill. Running full Defender gear from the DLC bonus items, so nothing crafted or purchased yet, and the crafting and upgrade systems are still untouched. Stopped for the night after the Izuchi clear.
Notes & Observations
- Started with Defender gear (DLC). It clearly trivializes early content and bypasses the crafting loop; considering a switch to base Kamura gear to let progression work as intended.
- Long Sword is the only weapon tested so far. The training-area trio recommendation (Long Sword, Greatsword, Insect Glaive) is only partially explored.
- A coworker is interested in multiplayer. Rise supports drop-in co-op for Hub Quests (up to 4 players); Village Quests are solo only.
